Los Padres are Gone!!

Before I begin I would like to give a shout out to my mom!  It was her birthday two days ago!  Love you!

So this past weekend my parents went out of town, so you know what that means...Party!  My siblings threw a party Friday night.  They each have totally different groups and the different groups did not mingle with each other the entire night.  A little weird but what ever.  I hung out with my brother's friends (fyi: my brother and I are like best friends, he is awesome!!!)  Fiona, Shane, his girlfriend Apple, and Niko came over for the party.  I was exhausted from the lack of sleep that I have been getting, so I was a little anti-social.  How anti-social you ask???  Well I went to bed while there were a bunch of people over.  Lame, yes I know!  I did hang out with peeps for a while, so it was all good.

The next day Fiona, my brother, and I went to go get ceviche and bring it back to the house...yummmmmm  I love ceviche!  Later that afternoon we were having an asado.  For all of yall who do not know what an asado is, it's a bbq!  Delicioso!  So a bunch of Javi's (my brother's name is Javier, but that's his nickname or apodo) friends came over to make a bunch of yummy food.  Some people went swimming and this one guy did capoeira.  Its a Brazilian dance/martial arts delio, but I can't describe how ridiculous this guy was.  He takes off his clothes and is wearing the tightest, shortest red shorts I have ever seen.  I mean seriously small.  I was laughing the entire time...I took pictures of him so you should definitely check them out.
On a side note I would like to name all of Javi's friends: Loco (crazy), Rana (frog), Blaze, and other's that I cannot remember right now.
Then later that night Fiona, Brett, all of Javi's friends, and I went out to try to find a place to dance.  We ended up in the most ghetto club I have ever been to!  I felt as if we went back in time to the 90's in the Bronx.  Everyone was wearing baggy clothes with bandanas around their heads and corn-rows!  Ridiculous I know!  They were only playing rap music like Tupac and Snoop Dogg.  We drove their, but unfortunately the driver was wasted so since I did not have anything to drink that night I took the keys to his truck (Alexandra would be jealous) and drove it home.  I was such a good driver, everyone was impressed.

The following day we cleaned up the house and just relaxed the entire day.  Javi comes up to me later and asked if I wanted to go on a bike ride with him and Loco.  Of course I could not turn it down, so we went to this pretty plaza (but I must say my legs were killing me!) sat down and had melon with wine or melvin.  This is so delicious, you make an incision at the top and the scoop out all the seeds.  You pour wine inside and then scoop junks of melon so you drink wine and melon.  mmmmmmmm  Then we biked back home.  This was such an incredible weekend because I met some really awesome people!

On a side note I went to the fish market today and this guy asked me if I was Brazilian!  I was very flattered...just to give you an idea of how dark I am.
