As you all know I am in Santiago, Chile!!!
I arrived yesterday morning and waited at the airport for a while. I was exhausted so I took a nap in the baggage claim. I seriously looked like a homeless person with my hood over my head laying on my backpack hoping nobody will steal my luggage.
(first of all i could not believe that my luggage actually arrived in santiago, you know i have the worst luck when it comes to suitcases! well not this time!!! woohooo)
Alright so where was I, oh ya so finally the group arrived and I found them at baggage claim and we all met up outside the gates.
Right away everyone was introducing themselves and just getting to know one another.
They took us to the hotel where we had an amazing lunch of chicken, fish, different kinds of salads, option of creme bruleé or tiramisu. Which one do you think I chose???
Creme Bruleé duhhhh!
Then we had orientation where half of the group was falling asleep. I looked like a bobblehead waking up every time my head slipped away from my hand.
That night after dinner everyone decided that its a must to go out! So we all got dressed, which here is like jeans and a nice top (even for the girls) and went bar hopping. Most of the people left at like 12 where in Chile everyone leaves their house at 1am. Something that I will have to get used to. But as for me and like 7 other people, we stayed out and bar hopped. I know most of you guys are like, Haya??? no way she doesn't do that, but how many times do I get this incredible opportunity to be in Chile? So I am going to make the most of it. We got back around 1:30, definitely not a Chilean Yet.
